Descrizione:		Qesta è lultima evoluzione della stirpe, una Spec C ulteriormente affinata e ribattezzata per loccasione RA-R. Dal punto di vista estetico, la vettura si distingue per i cerchi in lega di colore bianco, lo spoiler anteriore in carbonio e le minigonne laterali, realizzate nello stesso materiale. Ben più sostanzione sono invece le novità meccaniche, a partire dal propulsore, qui presente nelal versione di 2.0 litri: ora eroga 360 CV a 6.400 giri e 431 Nm a 4.400 giri. Merito di un nuovo turbocompressore, un sistema di scarico più sportivo e una diversa gestione elettronica. Ulteriormente affinato è anche lassetto, che per loccasione è stato ribassato di 1,5 cm. It offers customers in Japan a better version of the WRX and contributes to the spec C’s homlogation requirements. Since the ‘GD chassis’ WRX was released in 2001, these thinly disguised race cars have been steadily revised to keep the Group N and PWRC rally cars competitive. Already featuring lighter glass, thinner roof construction, reinforced strut tower braces, a rear crossbar, aluminum trunk lid and an air-cooled engine oil cooler, the spec C is a potent package that the RA-R takes a step further. Under the hood is a specially prepared version of Subaru’s boxer with a larger turbo and better exhaust to produce 320 bhp and 318lb ft lbs of torque – the same as Subaru’s ultra-limited S204.
